Dr. Jimenez hails from Angeles City and is related to the Hensons. He finished his medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas. He took his internship at the St. Luke’s Medical Center and also finished his residency at the International Eye Institute of the same institution. He was the chief resident during his senior year in residency. After his ophthalmology training he further honed his skills as a retina fellow at St. Luke’s. Upon completion of his fellowship, he did another observational fellowship specializing in the diagnosis and management of Retinopathy of Prematurity at the Sankara Nethralaya Eye Foundation in Chennai, India.

Dr. Jimenez is currently affiliated with the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City and at the Clinica Henson Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Center. He is a member of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and the Vitreo-Retina Society of the Philippines.
