Rochelle S. Sumagang is certified by the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology. She specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She provides medical, laser and surgical treatment for patients with glaucoma. Dr. Sumagang obtained her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas. She completed her medical internship and residency training at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center where she became the Chief Resident at the Department of Ophthalmology. This was followed by further cataract surgery training at the Aravind Eye Hospital at Coimbatore, India. She then proceeded to complete her Glaucoma fellowship training at the Eye Referral Center, Glaucoma Research Foundation.

Dr. Sumagang is a member of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology and the Philippine Medical Association. She held leadership positions in the Pampanga Medical Society and is currently an officer in the Central Luzon Society of Ophthalmology.
